Museum MACAN
Museum MACAN is the first modern and contemporary museum in Jakarta that opened in 2017. The name “MACAN” stands for Modern and Contemporary Art in Nusantara. This museum offers a diverse collection from around the world that blend the traditional influences with contemporary themes.
Museum MACAN has 800 collections and 90 displays including painting, performance and installation arts. This museum regularly have seasonal themes, hosts workshops and educational programs that provides visitors of all ages to connect with the art in meaningful ways.
