Mount Agung (Holy Mountain) rises to 3,142 metres above sea level. This active volcano is Bali's highest and most sacred mountain. Sunrise from the crater rim is a sight not to be missed. Organised treks can be booked through local tour operators and require a reasonable level of fitness.
