Within walking distance, the large square in the center of Pangkalpinang is a meeting point and a perfect place to grab a cup of hot soy milk or relax with the locals and people-watch as the sun goes down, before heading out to one of the area’s many restaurants. The square has a playground and a theatre as well as sporting facilities, including a tennis court.
