Located in the downtown of Singkawang City, Rumah Marga Tjhia is an ancestral house inhabited by direct descendants of Xie Shou Shi (Tjhia Siu Si). This building was built in the year 1901-1902 and has the east and western style, with its structure made mostly of ironwood (belian).
And there is also a vacant lot or main hall in the middle of the yard like the architecture of a traditional Chinese house building - Si He Yuan, which means "yard surrounded by buildings on all four sides"
