Shanghai is China's biggest city, a world centre for business and the second largest “city proper” after Mumbai.
Then there’s Xi'an, blessed with precious relics including the incredible Terracotta Army, underground for more than 2,000 years and discovered by farmers digging a well in 1974, is one of the greatest ever archaeological finds and a ‘must-see’ for the tourist.
Hong Kong, which some refer to as ‘Oriental London’, is like no other place on earth and on the ‘bucket-list’ of most. As a key global financial centre, Hong Kong enjoys all the attributes of a dynamic, vibrant and modern metropolis, world-renowned as a shopper’s paradise. The super-malls of Central, Admiralty and the fashion factories in Causeway Bay are the reason many travellers make their way to Hong Kong, time and again.
