We want to ensure you are entertained; there are many family-friendly activities, events, restaurants, and fabulous city locations to choose from. Royal Easter Show – Auckland’s best Easter Celebration

The Royal Easter show is New Zealand’s largest most loved family show. For 176 years, it’s been an annual must see and do we all love. We’re so excited for this year’s show, it had to be at the top of our list. Held at the ASB Showgrounds in Greenlane, 18-22 April 2019, it’s only a 10 min car ride from Swiss-Belsuites Victoria Park; if you require directions, our friendly reception team will be happy to help!

Embrace the Easter magic and all the family entertainment! FREE, full of fun packed activities, carnival rides, food stalls, shows, live music, circus performance, and to top off the long weekend, a fireworks display lighting up the sky. Perfect way to celebrate Easter!



Good Friday - Auckland Night Market – CBD Shortland Street

Hot, fresh delicious food that is not over priced – yes please! Do something different this evening! For a great night out, we suggest starting your Easter weekend exploring Auckland Night Market. Dinner with difference; indulge yourself in eclectic mix of food stalls, from Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Dutch, Lebanese and Jamaican street foods. Enjoy live music and watch the performances of the night! Only a 12 min walk from Swiss-Belsuites Victoria Park to Shortland Street; head east on Victoria St West then turn right on to Elliott St and you are there. Waiheke Jazz, Art & Music Festival

A long-running jazz festival on Auckland's Waiheke Island is staged at various venues across Waiheke. Travel over by ferry this Easter, April 19-22. Make your way to the Downtown Ferry terminal, which is within easy reach of Swiss-Belsuites Victoria Park (only a 10 min walk from the hotel). Experience a pleasant 40-minute cruise on Fullers, where you can take in the gorgeous city views of Auckland. Arriving on this beautiful island – sit back, relax and enjoy the wine, the music with so many inspirational performances.

Picnics are fun for the whole family and friends, a simple and fun activity for you to eat, play, and spend quality time together. Our suggestion is to take a blanket and basket, head over to Victoria Park, just across the road from Swiss-Belsuites Victoria Park. Family picnics are made for anytime of the year, a good dose of fresh air, good food and lots of shared experiences are a great way for families to spend time together while enjoying the outdoors. Feel the autumn breeze, take in the scenery, relax, have your own Easter egg hunt and fun with your loved ones.
