Swiss-Belhotel International has announced the promotion of seven executives to help propel the global hospitality management chain’s continuing expansion.
The promotions come at a time when the award-winning Hong Kong-based company eyes increasing its total portfolio to 250 properties by the end of 2020, comprising some 25,000 rooms via 14 diverse brands.
Under the corporate restructuring, Mr. Oliver R. Faull has been named Senior Vice President for Australia and New Zealand. He was previously Vice President for Australia and New Zealand.
Mr. Faull has taken on more responsibility as the Group bolsters its operations and investments in Greater Australasia. He has maintained his role as Assistant Group Chief Financial Officer.
Edward J. L. Faull has been promoted from Vice President to Senior Vice President for Group Technical Services and Projects (Operations and Development) in Vietnam and Thailand. He will lead the Group’s Vietnam and Thailand operations.
Grant Gaskin is now Vice President for Operations and Development in Australia and New Zealand, having previously served as Area General Manager for Australia and New Zealand. He is also helping to tap opportunities in the Pacific.
Bernanda Karo-Karo has been named Senior Regional and Area Director of Finance for Indonesia and Asia – promoted from Regional Director of Finance for Indonesia. He is instrumental in the Group’s Malaysia, Vietnam and Thailand expansion.
Matthias Schulz is now the Regional Director of Sales for New Zealand and Australia, after serving as Regional Director of Sales for New Zealand. Along with New Zealand and Australia, Mr. Schulz will also help drive business in Bali. At the same time, he will supervise the Group’s Business Development Managers in New Zealand and Australia.
Lee Richards has had his role at the Group expanded, with him now Vice President of Operations and Development, Group Marketing and Communication, Group Human Resources and Talent Development. He will work with Mr. Edward Faull to expand the Group’s footprint in Vietnam and Thailand, while continuing his roles as Vice President for Group Marketing and Communications, as well as Vice President for Group Human Resources and Talent Development.
Garry Garcia has also had his role expanded. He is now Regional Director of Operations and Business Development in the Philippines, and remains General Manager of the Valero Grand Suites by Swiss-Belhotel, in Makati.
