The Swiss-Belhotel International Global General Managers' Conference 2023 - the Celebration of You, was a resounding success. Bringing together over 100 delegates comprising Swiss-Belhotel International group and regional executives, general managers, and partners. Held at Swiss-Belhotel Solo, Indonesia from 21 to 24 February 2023, the event was kicked off by Gavin M. Faull, Swiss-Belhotel International’s Chairman & President.


 

Uniting leaders from all over the world, the conference was not just informative but also culturally enriching. Delegates were treated to a cultural tour of the Danar Hadi batik workshop and a royal dinner at Pura Mangkunegaran palace.





 During the event, our Regional Vice Presidents shared their expansion plans in their respective regions. There were also panel discussions led by Swiss-Belhotel International group executives, which provided a platform for insightful discussions and the exchange of ideas.



 

The conference featured several keynote speakers who brought their wealth of knowledge and experience to bear. Alexandra Coward, from The People Factor, spoke about staff retention, Budi 'Buset' Setiawan from Inspiring Kita led a workshop on leadership and teamwork with a Peak Performance simulation activity, Fabian Bartnick from Infinito spoke about Infinito Revenue Management System, and Kim Ong, from STR Benchmarking, shared the outlook of the hospitality industry and conducted a workshop on various STR reports and uses. These keynote speakers provided valuable insights into topics that were critical to the success of the hospitality industry.


 

The future of the Swiss-Belhotel International brands was also unveiled during the event, with exciting upcoming brand refreshments on the horizon. This announcement was received with enthusiasm by the delegates, who expressed their excitement about the new brand direction.

The conference also had high-level JV partner sessions, including an interactive discussion with Harold Ong, from Indies Capital, Swiss-Belhotel International's investment partner in Indonesia; and Dato' Rosthman bin Ibrahim from Nautical Insight Sdn. Bhd., Swiss-Belhotel International's investment partner in Malaysia, spoke about the group's expansion in Malaysia.





 The conference also recognized the hard work and dedication of some group and regional executives, and general managers, by awarding them certificates and awards for their professional achievements.

The event culminated in an awards night, called "The Red Night," which announced award-winning hotels, general managers, as well as group and regional executives. This was a fitting way to end the conference as it celebrated the success of the Swiss-Belhotel International brand and its dedicated professionals.
